Sarah Yeboah-Smith: Playwright and writer

Sarah Yeboah-Smith is an emerging playwright based in London with a fascination for the psychology of human behaviour. My work explores the tension between individual wants and social expectation, asking how identity, relationships, and morality are influenced by the worlds we inherit.

Through intimate, character-led stories, I'm interested in examining the assumptions we accept without question and the emotional consequences of challenging them. My first staged work will be presented at a scratch night, and I'm currently developing new work for the stage.
